Recent Feelings

It's as if though.. My mind says 'you're not going to fall for anyone' but yet my heart goes and disobeys anyway... Am I the only one? I seriously hope not. Honestly.. It sucks. But my friends and family are all so amazing; they've helped me forget all my recent problems. I recently performed one of my poems and it was incredible. I loved the feeling. I write more than usual now and I love it. Art has become a huge part in my life, i love it.. So tell me. What makes you happy?

Bullying

The definition of bullying; The use of superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.

That my dear readers and friends is the true definition of bullying. So, my question is to all those fellow bullies out there; why? Why do you do it? Do you do it to make yourself feel better? Do you do it to feel like your above everyone? Well, newsflash, you're not. You're not better than anyone else. You're a human being just like everyone, you have flaws and you make mistakes. Just like everyone else. For those who have been or are currently being bullied, stay strong and remember you are beautiful; you shouldn't care what people say. God created you the way you are for a reason. It doesn't matter if you are chubby, skinny, light-skinned, dark-skinned, tall or short. It shouldn't matter what race or religion you are either. You are beautiful inside and out, whoever tells you otherwise is jealous or they have to put people down to feel strong. Don't let them get to you. 

People that are bullied usually turn suicidal or depressed. That is NOT under any circumstances, okay. If you are one of those people being bullied, tell an adult immediately. Don't think you are being a snitch or that you can handle that on your own, because even though it may seem like it; you will lose control of the situation. Stop it while you can. I have my own experience with bullying and I know many people that have been through it too. It sucks and lets not forget it scars someone, badly. It follows and haunts someone for a long time.. If you have a chance to make a change, why not take it?

Tired of Trying?

There have been some people that have told me that they feel as if though their boyfriend or girlfriend have been giving up on the relationship. If you feel like that, keep reading.

Ever heard the phrase "If you love something let it go, if it comes back it was meant to be" ? Well I really love that one because it's true. If you love someone and they aren't happy, let them go. Yeah its hard, but if you truly care for their happiness then you would do it. If they come back, it was meant to be that's just how it goes. There are some relationships that when one person thinks the other is giving up, they stop too. Well let me be the first to say, if you are the one giving up.. just quit already. Why? Well because, you're just giving that person false hope that the relationship will work out. Most of the time, people go out with someone because they feel bad for them or they just want to date someone new. Is it really worth it? Is it worth leading someone on? Is it worth it to date someone because you feel like changing your relationship status? What if someone did it to you? Yeah, I thought so. It's different when someone does it to you, right? So, if you're doing it to someone or know someone that is doing it; think about it. Put yourself in their shoes and just think, if someone was doing that to you... how would you feel? It would not only suck, it would hurt.

So, a reminder to those that want to give up or quit trying. Don't do it because you have to, or because you feel like the other person is because I gaurantee you if you put your best effort that person will notice. You could always sit down and talk to them about your feelings too. Be honest and keep it real in a relationship.

Believer or Not, I Respect.

I'm sure i'm not the only one that believes in God, I am positive there are more. I am also aware that there are non-believers, known as atheists. Now I don't have a problem with atheism, but I do have a problem that if I can respect someones belief of not believing in God, why can't they do the same?

So, why am I speaking of this now? Well, because I recently got into an argument with someone that made me realize how ignorant some people can be and not even know it. I am a believer of God, I am 100% Catholic and I am proud. I take pride in going to church, volunteering with my church group and praying. Not so many people can agree though. I was in class the other day and I had been wearing my rosary (I usually don't take it, but I had slipped it on that morning) when a person comes up to me and asks "Why are you wearing that?" at first I was like 'what are they talking about?' but then he pointed to my rosary. I told him because I felt comfortable wearing it, I am trying to quote what he said... but it was something like this: "I don't understand how people take pride in believing something that isn't real. If I can't see God, hear God or feel God. There is obviously no God, look at the world why would 'God' let us suffer like this? If he made the earth and people then why can't he make it better? Are you praying for a better world? Tell me, is it coming true?"

I seriously felt shocked. Shocked that he would say that. He had told me before he was an atheist and I respected that. I never brought up God around him or did anything to disrespect his belief. But what he did, was low. Even for him. I simply replied "If you don't believe it, don't question me about it. I believe in God because he has helped me so much and yeah if you can't see or hear it, it doesn't exist, right? Wrong. You can't see your brain. You can't hear your brain. You can't feel your brain. So.. you don't have a brain?" He stared at me and just stayed quiet, probably knowing he was going no where with the argument, he walked away.

I respect all beliefs. If I can do it, anyone can. It's really not that hard. Believer or non-believer, I will respect you.

Raise Your Voice!

Have you ever been to something so amazing, you want to share it with everyone breathing? So, today I went to a group called 'Raise Your Voice' it was the most amazing, fun, creative group I have ever been to. Basically, what they do is they express their feelings through art! I had so much fun, I can't wait for the next one. There were people drawing, painting, writing poetry, graffiti art outside, dancing and much more! I literally was just amazed at how this group has grown and how much I loved it. I really hope it continues to grow and everyone goes. Check them out sometime!

Remember, don't ever think just because you're small or young that you don't have a voice. Everyone does, we just need to learn when and where to use it!

Ladies and Gentlemen.

Boys have an extremely confusing way of showing who they really are. I'm sure they're probably the most confusing puzzles ever. So when a guy likes a girl, how can you tell? Well honestly, you never really can. Unless of course, they tell you. There have been situations where the guy tells a girl he has feelings for her then he's off flirting with someone else! Usually I think that's a way to make the girl he likes jealous. I wouldn't know though, I am not a guy. Another thing that probably pisses a girl off is when a guy sends mixed emotions. One day he can walk you home, the next he ignores you at school or he can smile at you at his football game and hold your hand at the movies, yet he doesn't feel a thing for you. When a guy sends you mixed emotions, girls usually try reading into that. The easiest thing you can do is just go up to a guy and ask him truthfully.

Remember ladies, sometimes were exactly like that too. We never notice it, but we do. We can have a guy falling for us and we don't even realize what we do. The worst thing you can do is lead someone on. Be careful how you are around guys, sometimes they take certain actions into a real meaning. Same with guys!

School Advice

So, the school year just started and many people wonder how high-school will be or what do they have to do. Well one thing is for sure, be yourself! I have seen so many freshman that I went to middle school with walking through campus as somebody I just met and acting how they shouldn't be acting. Acting as if you're the queen/king isn't going to get you anywhere but trouble, trust me on that. Don't dress to impress, honestly why should you care what people have to say about what you wear or how you do your hair? Yeah, some people like to dress up and look gorgeous but some just over-do it. Don't look as if though you're 18, yet you're 13.

Now high-school is going to be tough, nobody promised it would be easy. People will walk through those gates as your friends but everyone changes. High-school is when you find out who your true friends are and I promise if you are yourself, you will find someone with your interests and someone who is gonna be there. You might be that shy kid that draws or sits quietly in class and reads while everyone talks or you might be that kid that walks up to a stranger and says 'Im ___!' and BAM you just made a new friend. You're just that confident. If you are one of those confident kids, try going up to a shy person and being his/her friend. For all you know, that could be the person that you either go out with or end up best-friends with. You never really know.
